Okay, so the web address to this blog, Northern Frontier, comes from the fact I want to make a little paradise here in a colder part of the country to do so. Now I am not going for drop-dead-tropical because I feel like for me to have  yard that I am proud of I need to have other plants that don’t look tropical. I am wanting to get the look of “normal” lants and “tropicalesque” plants working together to form an awesome landscape.

I won’t be posting much or at all on this blog until I actually get to Kentucky. I will let you know when I quit posting on the Florida blog. For now I will show you the outside f the new house. It will be getting a fence in the backyard and the front yard needs a lot of work in my opinion. I will probably end up taking out a lot of those shrubs and replacing them with other plants. The property does come with pine trees in the backyard which will be staying, they are a favorite tree of mine as well as palms, lol.
